The book I want to read for fourth quarter is "the uglies", I want to read this book because it seems interesting by the book cover. I'm also interested in how it will end, the book has series following it. I'm not sure what they are called, but by the start of the first book I hope its good as well. The book so far talks about how once they turn 16 or 18 they are to be turned into "pretties." The main character talks about how her and her best friend were split up when he had hit the age, she was desperate to see how the life of the pretties were. Every night she would go into the park and see what the pretties did, there was some type of bridge between the two places so the "uglies" wouldn't cross. The book so far is very interesting, and attention grabbing. The book may not be for everyone, but its a pretty good book to read so far. Well ill stop saying stuff about the book, but once I'm done I advice you to read it as well.
I was reading The Help, it talks about how African Americans were treated much different then how  so we call "white" people. This book talks about everything wrong with society, it tells the differences in how some "white" people aren't the same. Ms.Skitter is a white woman who care about balck lives wanted to give their sides of the job/story. she started to write a book about how they dealt with their jobs. Minny is one of the maids she worked for Ms.Hilly and Ms.Walters, now she works for this  very nice kind young lady. This was her first time hiring a maid and she didn't know what to do or how to say it. In the book everyone had their own opinion on how to treat and what they were doing right, Ms.Skitter choice to put Ms.Hilly and Minnys best part in the story, she wrote how Minny baked a pie with her own poop. After that Minny didn't know if she was going to get another job but she went on with the book to help out her friends. At the end of the b
The point of view in "The Help a novel" is told from mays point of view, she talks about everything as if she was writing it while going through it. She explains the details so good as if she was the one "inside the shoes". Her point of view is different from how everyone else in the story says it, If I was told from a different point of view maybe it would be a lot more different and how they explain what is going on. If it was told by Miss Lefolt it would be much different because she would include more of what she did and what she thought about the help about how they have to share rooms or how they want to walk in through the front door and sit and eat or wanting to sit I front of the bus. Miss Lefolt and May have their differences in how they explain the alto ry so I believe that it would be nothing the same, because of the different way the person is saying it.

The book im going to talk about today is Premonitions by Jude Watson.  the main charachter in this book is Gracie's , this book mostly talks about her best friend Emily and how she goes missing.  By far this book is the best one I've read yet, I read this during the summer dont know if it counts. Anyways this story is about Gracie and Emily, one day Emily went to get ice cream or acted like she was going to and didnt come home the whole day. Gracie didnt know what was going on until emilys mom called and asked if she was there. I geuss you can say it was probably hard for her since her and her  dad Mr.carbonel and Mrs.carbonel had split when she was little and they no longer live together. On this one day they decided to stay in the same house trying to find emily, Gracie her self couldn't belive that they were in the same room. Gracies mom died when she was young, Gracie only lived with her grandparents for a short while. After her grandparents couldn't take care of h

My book

I like my book I didn't really expect to like it, but it's intresting and gives detail. This book is different from a real life story it has a lot of different things in it. The one thing about this book is that in one place in the world parents chose who you date/ marry but instead of the parents deciding it's an organization deciding for you. As I said in one of my last post once you turn 17 is when it happens. Some of her friends were lucky to be matched with someone they knew, but some where better off being single. Cassia was matched with her bestfriend and they were both happy because they never through it would actually happen. I would suggest this book because it's intresting for a lot of people. So go check this book out it gives a lot of suspense.
My character cassia is a very doughtful and inserting person. She isn't much of a controlling person, she loves her family a lot and doesn't know what to do when she finds out she has two matches. Someone comes up to her and asks if she has told anyone about it, she said no I haven't told anyone .ok good keep it that way. She struggled of choosing who but someone chose for her and told her she was with her bestfriend she was match with xaviar.
